Patios and decks are both more than capable of giving you a really wonderful place where you can host family events, family gatherings and other special types of entertainment. These garden types are noteworthy because they are very freeform and tend to lack any formal planning. When it comes to English cottage gardens there is not a lot of rigidity when it comes to design, but the concept instead is to simply let things grow and to see what happens. If you are looking to create a garden space that is natural, organic and un fooled around with, the English cottage garden concept is one that is well worth exploring.
